Attention Visa Debit Cardholders

As part of our ongoing effort to keep your transactions secure, First Missouri Credit Union will soon send you a new EMV (Euro pay, MasterCard, Visa) chip Visa debit card.

EMV chip card transactions are protected by a unique one time code for each transaction to be approved providing greater security and peace of mind for you our member.

Timing

In order to quickly provide you with an EMV chip card we are accelerating our monthly plastic reissue process. Beginning Friday, September 1st 2017 all FMCU Visa debit cards set to expire in September 2017, 2018, and 2019 will be re-issued as a new EMV chip Visa debit card. You should receive your new EMV chip card no later than Monday, September 25th.

When you receive your new card please:

  • Call 1-800-757-9848 to
    • activate your card
    • select a 4-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN)
    • complete the verification process
Frequency

Each month additional EMV chip cards will be accelerated through our monthly plastic reissue process. Watch this space for any changes to the reissue process as they occur.

A First Missouri Credit Union VISA debit card looks like a credit card, acts like a check and spends like cash. Because it carries the Visa® logo, you can use it to make purchases from your First Missouri Credit Union checking account at merchant locations around the world. Plus, your debit card is an interest-free alternative to using a credit card.

Signature Based

Swipe your debit card at the register to have your purchases deducted right from your First Missouri Credit Union checking account!!

PIN-Based

Swipe your debit card and enter your PIN at the register to have your purchases deducted right from your First Missouri Credit Union checking account!

 

Insert your debit card and enter your PIN at 30,000 ATMs, for checking or savings account deposits, withdrawals and balance inquires.
